A scene featuring Chris Noth's Sex and the City character Mr Big has reportedly been cut from the finale of And Just Like That following allegations of sexual assault made against the actor.
The 67-year-old actor has been accused of sexual assault by multiple women. He has insisted that the allegations are "categorically false" and said the encounters were "consensual".
Mr Big died in the premiere episode of the spin-off And Just Like That, but was reportedly due to return in the finale in a fantasy scene set in Paris in which he reunites with his wife Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker).
TV Line first reported that the creative team behind the series decided to cut the scene from the finale edit as it was not narratively necessary.
HBO Max has declined to comment on the reports.
The final episode will stream on February 3.
Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, who played Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte in the popular franchise, have said they are "deeply saddened" by the allegations made against Noth and praised the women who have come forward.
Noth was dropped from the CBS drama The Equalizer following the allegations.
