Pick of the Day
Operation Transformation, 9.30pm, RTÉ One
Where have all those years gone?
Kathryn Thomas returns to host the 15th season of this popular lifestyle series.
You know the drill: people try to lose weight and get fit with the help of fitness coach Karl Henry, clinical psychologist Eddie Murphy, dietician Aoife Hearne, and general practitioner Sumi Dunne.
The five leaders featured in this particular run of the show began their transformation back in November when they were fully assessed by the experts.
Let’s see how they’ve all been getting on . . .
Don’t Miss
Neven’s Food Trails, 8.30pm, RTÉ One
Neven Maguire returns to travel around Ireland meeting producers and chefs responsible for the nation's great seafood reputation.
In the opener, he heads to Tralee Bay, home to one of Ireland's oldest oyster fishing grounds, joining husband-and-wife fishing team Alan Browne and Mary O'Brien on an oyster-dredging trip.
Neven also meets the Oyster Tavern's chef Darren Thibeaud, who shows him how to make a poached melody of seafood, with organic Irish salmon, fresh prawns, crab claws, hake, monkfish and mussels.
New or Returning Shows
Bull, 9.00pm, Sky Witness
Making his Sky Witness debut, Dr Jason Bull is back for the premiere of the legal drama’s fifth season.
Brilliant, brash, and charming, Bull is the ultimate puppet master as he combines psychology, human intuition, and high-tech data to learn what makes jurors, attorneys, witnesses, and the accused tick.
As this new run begins, Bull and the Trial Analysis Corporation team struggle to adjust to a virtual court system as they weather the New York City coronavirus shutdown.
Mandy, 10.00pm, BBC Two
Comedy shorts, starring Diane Morgan. Mandy gets a job as a tour guide at Brampton Hall, but soon realises it's not your typical stately home.
Here, she finds unpleasantness comes in many forms, like picking up an apple from the fruit bowl and finding the hidden side has decomposed.
Then at 10.15pm, Mandy accidentally finds herself chosen to appear on the programme Who Are You, Do You Think?
I'm reliably informed that this is a fictional genealogy programme that is in no way parodies the real-life genealogy programme Who Do You Think You Are?
The Two Escobars, 10.30pm, TG4
At a time when drug money fuelled the sport known in the underworld as Narco-soccer, the fates of Andres Escobar and Pablo Escobar were permanently linked.
The former was the inspirational captain of Nacional, while the latter was the notorious leader of the Medellin cartel. They were unrelated.
When Andres was murdered 10 days after scoring an own goal against the US in the first round of the 1994 World Cup, it cost the country more than a shot at the title.
Four Hours at the Capitol, 10.30pm, RTÉ One
Here's an HBO documentary charting the attack on Washington DC's Capitol building in January 2021.
This was when a mob of Donald Trump supporters stormed the building in a violent protest, as they sought to overturn the result of the US 2020 Presidential Election.
Featuring never-before-seen footage and interviews with those who witnessed the attack, from police officers to the rioters and protestors, the documentary offers unprecedented access to the events that unfolded.
Grey’s Anatomy, 9.30pm, RTÉ2
Back for a record-breaking 18th season, Shonda Rhimes’ much-loved medical drama just keeps chugging along. It's The Simpsons in scrubs.

Meanwhile, Owen and Teddy attempt to take the next step in their engagement.

Another long-running US TV show returns, as this Tom Hanks-starring cop and legal drama is now up to its 12th season.

Ending Today
Four Lives, 9.00pm, BBC One
The drama starring Stephen Merchant and Sheridan Smith has been a dreadful indictment of homophobia in the British police. It’s been a gripping bit of telly.
In tonight’s third and final part, the body of Jack Taylor is found in Barking churchyard.
His family are devastated and, like the relatives and friends of the other victims, are convinced his death is suspicious.
Once again, however, the police dismiss their doubts, prompting the victim's family to begin their own investigation.
Meanwhile, Sarah Sak has accepted she will never know what happened to Anthony. But then CCTV footage of Port and Taylor is released - and an arrest is made.
