All Creatures Great and Small, 6.15pm, RTÉ One
This reboot has been an absolute joy so far and an improvement on the original, much-loved BBC show. No mean feat that.
It's Christmas Eve in this special, and the day before Helen's much-anticipated wedding to Hugh, and everyone is gathering to celebrate at the Skeldale Christmas party.
Meanwhile, James is called away to help with a dog in labour, so Helen asks to go with him to get away from all the wedding talk, only for a descending fog to trap the pair overnight in the Dales.
The vet promises he will get her back in time for her wedding in the morning, all the while wondering if he will be able to suppress his true feelings for her.
Shaun the Sheep: The Flight Before Christmas, 6.00pm, BBC One
Anyone who thinks this animated gem from Aardman is just for younger eyers is missing out on a hugely entertaining show.
In this festive special, it's Christmas Eve at Mossy Bottom Farm, but Shaun's excitement turns to dismay when a farmhouse raid inadvertently leads to Timmy heading to a market in the back of the farmer's truck.
Shaun sets out to get his cousin back before he becomes someone else's Christmas present.
A Ghost Story for Christmas: The Mezzotint, 10.30pm, BBC Two
Here's a little something to send you off to an uneasy sleep.
The year is 1922 and in the heart of an old English college Dr Edward Williams, the curator of a university art museum, receives an engraving of an unknown country house for his institution's collection.
The artwork appears to change slightly each time it is gazed upon and in due course it reveals a disturbing backstory.
The Greatest Snowman, 8.00pm, Channel 4
This will either be great fun or total cringe. Maybe even a bit of both.
Sue Perkins (below) hosts this seasonal show following a pack of celebrities as they travel to an Alpine resort to compete in an epic snowman-building competition.
With thousands of tons of snow and giant blocks of crystal-clear ice at their disposal, Johnny Vegas, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, Dani Dyer, Liam Charles and Cherry Healey go head-to-head across three tough rounds that will test both their brain and brawn.
Supported by a crew of seasoned sculptors, engineers, and snow builders the stars have to design and create some of the most extraordinary snow creations ever seen on TV.
