Today's TV highlights include the RTÉ Sports Awards, the Strictly Come Dancing grand final and a classic Christmas action movie.
The RTÉ Sports Awards 2021, RTÉ One, 9.20pm
Joanne Cantwell and Darragh Maloney present the RTÉ Sport Awards 2021 live from Studio 5 in RTÉ. Awards to be presented on the night include Sportsperson of the Year, Team of the Year and Manager of the Year.

Strictly Come Dancing: The Final, BBC One, 7.00pm
It's the Grand Final of Strictly Come Dancing 2021. After 12 weeks of competition, just two finalists are set to take their last spin around the dancefloor after AJ Odudu had to pull out at the last minute over an ankle injury.
Soap star Rose Ayling-Ellis and partner Giovanni Pernice and baker John Whaite and partner Johannes Radebe will go head-to-head for the glitterball trophy, performing three routines each. It is unclear how this will impact the format of the show, which is due to run for more than two hours.
Ed Sheeran will be performing, and the cast of 2021 will be back for one more shimmy.

Die Hard, 9.10pm, RTÉ2
Is Die Hard the most Christmassy non-Christmas movie of all time?
This 1988 action movie stars Bruce Willis as a New York cop battling armed men who have taken over a Los Angeles skyscraper where his wife is working on Christmas Eve.
Combining edge-of-your-seat action with a razor-sharp script, Die Hard is one of those films that bears repeat viewings and still stands up to this day.
The Chocolate Challenge: The Final with the Hairy Bikers, 6.00pm, Virgin Media One
The final three budding chocolatiers face the grand final, in which each must create a prototype bar that can be developed and manufactured.

Michael McIntyre's The Wheel, 9.00pm, BBC One
Gemma Collins, Dara O Briain, Fred Sirieix, Rochelle Humes, Lorraine Kelly, Jordan Banjo and Liam Charles help the contestants take on the colossal wheel and answer questions.
