Gavin James has announced he will bring air filters on tour next year to boost safety measures for fans and staff.
The Irish singer-songwriter is embarking on a 13-date tour - mainly in April 2022 - and has teamed up with Irish company Mia Air to bring its HEPA filtration systems on the road with him.
The portable systems will be used to ensure the safety of his crew and staff and, where suitable, will also be installed in venues during the concerts.
The music star said: "As we continue to live with Covid, the live music industry has been one of the most affected and it has caused extreme problems for everyone working in it - not just the artists, but the technicians, engineers and other staff.
"I'm delighted to be able to provide an extra level of safety for our fans and crew in the upcoming indoor shows."
Mia Air managing director, David Byrne, added: "We believe that Gavin will be one of the first artists to bring HEPA air filters on tour with him in Ireland.
"Use of HEPA 14 filters such as Mia Air will allow him to add an extra layer of safety and are a practical method of bringing the live music industry back.
"We are delighted to work with Gavin to help make his tour safer and give people the chance to enjoy live music again.
"The high efficiency particulate absorbing (HEPA) filters significantly remove the need for ventilation during the winter months."
The systems trap and destroy airborne particles and viruses before pumping out clean air through a fan, and are capable of multiple air changes per hour.
The 30-year-old Dublin singer's sold-out concert in the 3Arena was one of the last shows in Ireland before the lockdown.
Tickets for Gavin James's 2022 tour are now on sale.
