Have to say that I'm dreading this.
While Sex and the City started out as a truly groundbreaking, unmissable and smart show about modern women and their complicated lives, by the end it was just a sad, vacuous parody.
The less said about the wretched films, the better. I couldn’t stomach more than 15 minutes of the first one, which is regarded as Citizen Kane with shoes compared to the sequel.
This new chapter of the HBO series follows Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte - but no Samantha, unfortunately, as Kim Cattrall’s given it a wide berth.
This time around they navigate their journey, far from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s, but in the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
Don’t Miss
Unapologetic, 11.05pm, Channel 4
This episode tackles body image, with specially invited guests and an opinionated panel, the show asks whether we can row back from the body.
From the image ideal set by the likes of the Kardashians, to Brazilian butt lifts, fillers, body sculpting, Instagram filters and surgical disasters. DJ and presenter Yinka Bokinni and social media star Zeze Millz ask why more and more Black women are going under the knife.
Touching the Void, 9.00pm, Sky Arts
David Greig's stage adaptation of Joe Simpson's best-selling memoir, depicting the struggle for survival in the Andes of the author and his climbing partner Simon Yates.
The Manchurian Candidate, 9.00pm, BBC Four
Here’s a 1960s’ political thriller, starring Laurence Harvey, Frank Sinatra, Janet Leigh and Angela Lansbury.
Harvey stars as a distinguished Korean War veteran who is brainwashed into becoming a remote-controlled killing machine.
When he returns to America a hero, an old friend begins to suspect something is terribly wrong.

How to Make it on Only Fans, 10.00pm, Channel 4
Like many others things, the pandemic saw prostitution go online, as many traditional jobs in the real world dried up.
In an effort to make ends meet, sex purveyors and some ordinary people turned to the platform OnlyFans, which gives customers the opportunity to sell exclusive content - much of it of an adult nature.
This documentary examines the website, which some claim is the new frontier of sex work, while others believe it to be an exploitative fad with potentially life-ruining consequences.
Contributors include ex-customer services worker Emily, sales worker Zoe and Alex Sim-Wise (above), who claims to make £10,000 a month as a content creator on the website.

Sort Your Life Out with Stacey Solomon, 8.00pm, BBC One
Dan and Kelly Waller cleared a packed garage to create an annex for grandparents to live, but as a result the clutter that was there has now taken over the rest of the house.
With Stacey's help, the family starts packing all its possessions into boxes and those are later laid out in a giant warehouse like an art installation of their entire lives.
Back at the house, carpenter Robert Bent creates a multi-purpose spare room and transforms the office into a workspace of dreams, cleaner Iwan Carrington gives the home a supersize spring clean, while organiser Dilly Carter reveals the best way to organise paperwork.

As season two concludes, Daniel is horrified to learn that Eve has been arrested for Moloney’s murder.
He’s not going to let his daughter pay the price for his mistakes and resolves to fall on his sword to have her exonerated.
Daniel goes to see Gubby in the hope of getting Moloney’s body returned but Gubby is incredulous: there’s no way he’s going to be incriminated in the murder of a policeman.
And if Eve goes down for it then all the better.
