Fair City star Stephanie Kelly has told the Christmas RTÉ Guide that she is expecting her third child.

The actress, who plays Sash Bishop in the RTÉ One show, and her fiancé Craig Hopkins welcomed their daughter Rosie in 2019. Kelly is also mother to son Zach from a previous relationship.

"This year has been really good," she said. "We found out we are expecting another baby, which is wonderful."

"I have to pinch myself that I'll soon be a mammy of three," she added.

Kelly's character Sash has been a big part of the Ritchie Lennon murder storyline in Fair City, with fans expecting her to have a twist-filled Christmas in Carrigstown.

"Sash will try to make Christmas as magical as she can for [daughter] Olivia," the Dubliner said, giving little away.

"However, the past few months have been very stressful for her because of Ritchie's drug-running and she worries it will come crashing down."
