Singer-songwriter RuthAnne Cunnigham has welcomed a baby girl with her fiancé Ollie Marland.
The Dublin-born musician shared the happy news on Instagram, writing: "Lily-Mae Marland our beautiful little rainbow arrived Friday 26th November 00:10am.
"I'm speechless at the minute and just keep staring at what we have created. We love you beyond, I have never felt a feeling quite like this.
"It's just so magical!! I’m a MAMA!! I love you my beautiful little girl and I can’t wait to watch you grow every single day!!!!
"Thank you to the best birth partner ever @thisisojm I could not have done it without you and I’m loving watching you be the amazing dad already that I knew you’d be!!! Ok back to the baby bubble now!"
Cunningham, who was nominated for a Grammy for working with superstar John Legend on his album, A Legendary Christmas released her debut album, Matters of the Heart, two years ago.
The 36-year-old songwriter also spearheaded the Irish Women in Harmony group who released a cover of The Cranberries' Dreams during lockdown to raise money for domestic-violence charity Safe Ireland, and a reworking of Eleanor McEvoy’s A Woman’s Heart into Only A Woman in July.
She has also written for a number of international stars including, Britney Spears, One Direction, JoJo and Westlife.
