Boxing legend Kellie Harrington made a surprise appearance on Friday night's Late Late Toy Show where she doled out some very sage advice to young viewers around the country.

The Olympic gold medalist surprised besties Poppy and Darcy, saying she was delighted to meet "these two champs".

The Dublin boxer said she applies for Toy Show tickets every year ("they're like gold dust") but now she finally had her chance to be part of the magic.

Harrington made the best of it as she gave young viewers around the country some great advice.

"Just be yourself and surround yourself with all your friends, and be very positive," she said.

"In the middle of the grey skies you were a rainbow for the country this year," Ryan responded.
