Reality TV star Gemma Collins has said she feels at home while she's in Ireland and that she has a thing for the Irish accent.
Collins appeared on Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything on RTÉ One on Saturday night and spoke about how much she enjoys visiting Ireland.
"I love it here. I’m never going to leave," she said. "I feel so at home here, my grandad was Irish."
She then spoke about her friendship with former Westlife member Brian McFadden, saying she was initially star struck by him when they filmed an episode of reality dining show Who's Doing the Dishes together.

"I couldn’t believe the guy from Westlife was in my house," she recalled.
"He was more flashy then, he was still young, then the tables turned by the time I did Dancing on Ice and he was on there, he was still famous but I was probably more famous by then."

She added, "We get on so well but I’m a sucker for an Irish accent, I love the way he sings", before joking that a romantic relationship between them would never have worked out because, "I’m too much for him, it would never work, he wants to be the star and obviously so do I. So we knew it was only going to be friends, I made peace with knowing I wouldn’t be marrying him.
"It’s the Irish, I love the Irish."
During her interview the former TOWIE star said she isn’t the diva her reputation leads people to believe.
"I am really normal, I think, do you know what, the diva thing is because I'm a woman who knows what I want," she said.
"I’m a risk-taker in life, I never play it safe."
