Aoibhinn Ní Shúilleabháin, Kathriona Devereux and Jonathan McCrea investigate the impact climate change is having.

They’ll also be looking at the frequency of natural disasters through increased rain, storms and rising sea levels.

The team meets researchers to find out how they are affecting Ireland and what can be done to protect the coastline from them.

Later, at 10.30pm, Martin is delighted when a murder at Claremont brings the NYPD into his territory, allowing him direct involvement with one of Malcolm's cases.

The Outlaws, 9.00pm, BBC One

It’s the penultimate episode of this enjoyable Stephen Merchant dramedy.

Gabby and Greg go cap-in-hand to a possible financier for the festival - her own father.

Meanwhile, Diane reveals a murky past, and attempting to lay her own to rest, Myrna reaches out to family.

John recruits Frank to help him impress his father, Tom discovers something which threatens his grandad's newfound domestic bliss, and Rani tries to recruit some help for an audacious break-in.

Sharon Ní Bheoláin (below) presents appeals for help from the public in solving crimes, featuring reconstructions, CCTV footage, news features and a panel of police advisers taking call.

The New Generation, 9.00pm, BBC Two

Amol Rajan examines a dramatic period in British royal history during which the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (below) have charted very different courses in their relationships with the media.

The first edition covers the years following the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the positive media reaction to the emergence of a new generation of royals.

It leads up to and including the engagement and marriage of Prince Harry to American TV star Meghan Markle.

Guy's Garage, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Guy Martin (above) transforms road vehicles into custom racers and takes on fellow enthusiasts from across Europe on some of the continent's most unusual tracks.

The first episode comes from Sweden, where Guy transforms a Volvo estate to compete in the national motorsport of Folk Racing, a super-competitive form of rallycross, at the Vasteras Motorstadion

Along for the Ride with David O'Doherty, 10.00pm, Channel 4

David O'Doherty (above) goes on cycling trips with celebrity companions, beginning with a two-day trip around Dungeness on the Kent coast with Richard Ayoade.

David and Richard face the horrors of glamping and the wild winds of the flat Romney Marsh, and hopefully make it to their lighthouse destination in time.

Royal Bastards: Rise of the Tudors, 9.00pm, Sky History

More royal shenanigans, this time with the incredible true story of one of England’s most powerful women, the largely unknown Lady Margaret Beaufort.

She was half-sister by marriage of King Henry VI, mother of King Henry VII and grandmother of Henry VIII.

Married aged just 12, pregnant at 13, widowed and a fugitive shortly after, her story is truly the real Game of Thrones.

Told through storytellers Sheila Atim, Philip Glenister and Sophie Rundle, this unique docudrama tells the story of one of the most turbulent and bloody periods in English history through the eyes of its women.
