Netflix drops Emily in Paris 2 trailer

Lily Collins is returning as Emily Cooper in season two of Emily in Paris on Netflix, with the streaming giant launching the first trailer for the new series.

This season, it is expected that Emily may fit in a little better in Paris, despite the idiosyncrasies of French life.

The series is about a young American woman from the Midwest who is hired by a marketing firm in the City of Light to provide them with an American perspective on things.

Lucas Bravo as Gabriel and Lily Collins as Emily in season two

Last season, Emily ended up in a love triangle with her neighbour and drove her French work colleagues mad, all while wearing a wardrobe that would make Carrie Bradshaw jealous.

In season two, Emily is set to make her first real French friend and struggles on with her French class, where she meets a new American frenemy.

Other actors in the series are Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie Grateau, Ashley Park as Mindy, Samuel Arnold as Luc, Bruno Gouery as Julien, Camille Razat as Cami and William Abadie as Antoine Lambert.

Recurring stars include Kate Walsh as Madeline, Jeremy O Harris as Gregory Elliott Dupree and Arnaud Binard as Laurent G.

Season 2 premieres on Wednesday, 22 December.
