Joyful electronic act PrYmary Colours have recently released their new single, The Movement. We asked group members Daz & Cay the BIG questions...
Tell us three things about yourself?
We are PrYmary Colours. We are an audio-visual collective of DJ, singer, dancers, and arthouse. We love creating a safe space for everyone to boogie. If you see something silver and sparkly with lots of dancers on stage at a festival, it's sure to be us!
How would you describe your music?
Our music ranges from disco, to house, to synth-pop. It's a fusion of electronic beats with soulful vocals. We aim to bridge the gap between underground and mainstream. We have been given the platform to spread love and promote inclusivity, so we do so with our positive lyrics and uptempo beats. Overall, we just want to bring joy to everyone with our music.

Who are your musical inspirations?
We are influenced by some of the classic acts such as Chic, Chaka Khan, Inner City, Tina Turner, Daft Punk and Michael Jackson. A lot of our influences also come from Latin-American beats, classic 80s and 90s, and lately, we have infused some traditional Irish music.
What was the first gig you ever went to and the first record you ever bought/downloaded?
First gig was Oasis in Dublin, and the first album was The Beach Boys Greatest Hits.
What's your favourite song right now?
Cinthie has a sweet house track called Offenbach Anthem. Favourite track by an Irish artist is Ancient Messenger by Lucas.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"Don't worry, about a thing, cos every little thing, gonna be alright", Three Little Birds by Bob Marley.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?
Wanna Be Startin' Something by Michael Jackson.
Where can people find your music/more information?
