Mary Berry also meets fellow foodies who love growing their own ingredients.

Followed by Nadiya’s Fast Flavours (8.30pm, BBC Two), where Nadiya Hussain rustles up recipes that don't need a special occasion to try out.

She begins with comfort foods, including macaroni cheese, and her twist on French toast.

Father of the Cyborgs, 10.15pm, RTÉ One

In the late 1990s, neuroscientist Phil Kennedy made global headlines for implanting several wire electrodes in the brain of a paralysed man and then teaching the locked-in man how to control a computer cursor with his mind.

This documentary examines the ethics of his work and the unintended consequences of a future where technology and human brains combine.

As the medical documentary returns for a fourth run, cameras focus on Addenbrooke's head and neck surgeon Ekpemi Irune.

She takes on a case where a cancerous tumour in the face and neck is growing so fast, it's threatening her 60-year-old patient Chris's life.

Meanwhile, at Royal Papworth, consultant surgeon Ravi De Silva tends to Verity, who has a genetic condition called Turner's Syndrome.

It has caused her aorta to become enlarged and is in danger of fatally rupturing.

Unapologetic, 11.05pm, Channel 4

DJ and presenter Yinka Bokinni and social media star Zeze Millz (above) invite black people to talk freely about everything and anything, offering views on the big issues of the day.

Topics also include cultural appropriation, sex, relationships and parenting, and what's making news on social media.
