Adele scores her second week at number 1 on the Official Irish Singles Chart, while Elton John and Lane Del Rey land in the top ten with their latest album releases.
Adele's Easy On Me comfortably holds the top spot, outperforming its closest competition, Elton John & Dua Lipa’s Cold Heart (Pnau Remix), by 3,400 chart sales.
Much of this week’s top 10 remains unchanged, with the exception of viral smash Meet Me At Our Spot by The Anxiety, aka Willow and Tyler Cole, which lifts four places to number 9. The climb earns both artists their first Irish Top 10 – Willow’s previous peak was 11 with her debut single Whip My Hair in 2010.
This week’s highest new entry comes from Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd, Moth To A Flame opens at number 13 and is the Swedish dance outfit’s first chart entry in nine years since 2012’s Don’t You Worry Child peaked at number 2.
Over on the albums chart Olivia Rodrigo reclaims the number 1 position, holding off challenges from new releases by Lana Del Rey and Elton John.
Rodrigo’s debut Sour notches up a 14th non-consecutive week at the summit, rebounding 5 to 1, powered by streams.
This week’s highest new entry is Lana Del Rey’s eighth studio record Blue Banisters at Number 4, the US star’s eighth Top 5 album.
Last week’s chart-toppers Coldplay drop to 5 with Music Of The Spheres, just ahead of Elton John’s new album The Lockdown Sessions at Number 9.
