The starry line-up for Angela Scanlon's brand new RTÉ Saturday night entertainment show has been revealed, with Hollywood actor Chris O'Dowd among the guests.

Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything debuts on RTÉ One at 10pm and will see Scanlon grill her celebrity guests who have been agreed to be asked absolutely anything.

LA-based, Boyle-born actor O'Dowd, well known for starring in films such as Bridesmaids and the TV series Girls, will talk about the importance of staying true to your Irish accent.

He will also chat about how his pet dog Potato likes to howl along to American TV show theme tunes, his time as a GAA player and the pure joy of being awarded the Freedom of Roscommon.
