Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker has asked reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian to marry him during a romantic proposal on a beach in California.

Kourtney confirmed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a number of images of the proposal with the caption 'forever,' as they embraced amid a large display of roses.

Barker's daughter Alabama shared an image of the happy couple with Kourtney wearing a sparkling engagement ring as they enjoyed an intimate dinner with family and friends after the proposal.

E! News confirmed the news and reports that "Travis escorted Kourtney down to the beach, where he had red and white florals set up in the shape of a heart. It looked very romantic."

Among those celebrating the engagement was Kim Kardashian, who tweeted footage of the couple kissing and added, "KRAVIS FOREVER," along with a ring emoji.

This will be the first marriage for Kourtney Kardashian and the third for Travis Barker.
