TV presenter Angela Scanlon has announced she is expecting her second baby with her husband Roy Horgan.

The Co Meath native, who is the host of RTÉ's new Saturday night entertainment show Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything, shared the happy news on her social media.

Posting a picture with her pregnancy bump clearly visible she wrote: "SO, this is happening!! I'm pregnant & apparently already prepping for actual labour. Baby Horgan The Second (official title) arrives next spring.

She added: "Feeling very lucky & excited & also nervous about jumping on a trampoline (forever)."

The Irish star, who married Roy Horgan in 2014, is already a doting mother to daughter Ruby Ellen, three.

Angela Scanlon's Ask Me Anything, is on at 10pm on RTÉ One from Saturday, October 23.
