Adele has announced that her new single Easy on Me will be released next week.
The news comes after weeks of speculation following the appearance of billboards in cities including Dublin and Berlin that appeared to suggest the Londoner's new album would be called 30.
The singer (33) has now released a teaser of the track, which is her first new music in six years, with a black-and-white clip shared on her social media accounts
The short clip sees her insert a cassette tape into a player as she sits behind the wheel of a car.
The clip has already been viewed millions of views from fans awaiting Adele’s new album, six years after the release of her last album, 25, in November 2015.
On Monday, she updated her website and social media accounts with a colour and font similar to the billboards.
Adele last gave an update on her new album when she hosted Saturday Night Live last October.
"I know there's been a lot of chatter about me just being the host. Like, why isn't she the musical guest and stuff like that," she said. "And there's a couple of reasons: My album's not finished, and I'm also too scared to do both."
