Martin Clunes returns for a second season as DCI Colin Sutton in this fact-based crime drama.

First up, he's asked to review the police investigation into a series of rapes, sexual assaults and burglaries that took place in south-east London between 1992 and 2009.

Working with Det Supt Simon Morgan and the Operation Minstead team, the detective proposed a strategy he believed could catch one of Britain's most prolific rapists.

Looking for Mr Bond: 007 at the BBC, 8.00pm, BBC Four

After more than 60 years tracking James Bond in print and on screen, the BBC reveals forgotten files on the world's most famous secret agent.

This includes rare and candid interviews with the six actors to play 007, as well as behind-the-scenes footage of Ian Fleming's famous creation.

Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, 9.00pm, BBC Four

Cracking Cold War thriller based on John le Carré's 1974 novel, starring an Oscar-nominated Gary Oldman.

A great cast also includes Colin Firth, Tom Hardy, John Hurt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Toby Jones, Mark Strong, Ciaran Hinds and Roger Lloyd Pack.

The story’s all about George Smiley, the deputy to the head of British intelligence, who is forced into retirement after an operation ends in disaster with the death of an MI6 agent.

Smiley is later recruited by the government to return to duty and investigate the possibility of a Soviet mole in a high-ranking position within MI6.

The Hunger: The Story of the Irish Famine, 10.15pm, RTÉ One

Here’s a repat of a two-parter that’s well worth another look.

Liam Neeson narrates a documentary exploring the famine's international origins and development in Europe, Britain and Ireland, and charting its long-term legacy as it played out for much of the century that followed.

Taskmaster, 9.00pm, Channel 4

Greg Davies sets tasks to a team of celebs comprising Alan Davies, Desiree Burch, Guz Khan, Morgana Robinson and Victoria Coren Mitchell.

The contenders compete against each other but, for the first time this series, they must also show off some teamwork as they're faced with a mountain to climb.

Morgana investigates suspect doggy bags and Guz slaps a space hopper, while Greg's loyal sidekick Alex Horne offers the intrepid participants moral support.

Hector - Éire Nua, 9.30pm, TG4

Hector begins his travels around Ireland in his home town of Navan where he meets Nigerian radio star Yemi Adenuga.

He meets the Kislinas from Latvia who came here for work and New Yorker Jeaic who came for the language.

Hector's then goes fishing with a French fisherman that has made county Clare his home. He meets Victor, a Russian man that learnt his impeccable Irish in Moscow.

He discusses the daily struggles that radio presenter Ola Majekodunmi experiences when trying to work with the Irish language and hears a heartwarming tale of nurse Patricia's first time arriving in Ireland.

Don’t Exclude Me, 9.00pm, BBC Two

With school exclusions at their highest in a decade, behavioural expert Marie Gentles visits Milton Hall Primary School in Southend to help the establishment manage their most challenging pupils.

Ambulance, 9.00pm, BBC One

Back for an 8th run, cameras follow the staff of North West Ambulance Service as they care for the people of Lancashire, with a deadly second wave of Covid-19 sweeping across the UK.

A call to help a patient threatening to jump off a bridge requires an urgent response during a busy day shift.

The police advise a serious road traffic accident on the motorway, while a later call reporting a stabbing turns out to be a hoax - leaving call handler Elly feeling frustrated and angry.

New to Stream

The Problem With Jon Stewart, Apple TV+

Jon Stewart’s latest project is a single-issue series, taking a deep dive on the issues affecting people in the USA these days.

Stewart will be in conversation with the people who are impacted by a given issue - as well as those who have a hand in creating the impact.

Together, they will discuss a more productive path towards action. And make a few jokeds along the way.
