Soundtrack to My Life, 9.50pm, RTÉ One
Presented by Niall Breslin, this is a new music and chat show for Saturday night.
Each episode will see an Irish artist collaborate with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra to create a unique playlist of songs that mean the most to them and reveal the stories behind their choices.
The series begins with an icon of Irish music: Johnny Logan (above), a man with a unique Eurovision pedigree.
He’s the only person in the contest’s history who has won on three separate occasions as both a composer and a performer. It's a remarkable feat that will probably never be equalled.
Here he joins Bressie to perform his greatest hits and is joined by Luka Bloom, Jerry Fish, Grainne Duffy and Jimmy Smyth.

In October 1962, Suzuki won its first world championship with a small, unassuming two-stroke motorcycle.
The little 50cc bike was ridden by the East German motorcycle racer Ernst Degner who – with a little help from a tailwind that day – rode the eight-horsepower bike to victory.
Risking it all for his and his family’s life to escape from behind the Iron Curtain, Ernst Degner took ground-breaking engine technology that helped Japanese manufacturer Suzuki win its first Grand Prix championship.
Missile from the East unravels the story of the man who would go on to pioneer the two-stroke and change the face of motorcycling forever.

The world's most inept police detective, Inspector Clouseau, heads off to Switzerland in search of a suave jewel thief who has purloined a priceless diamond from a princess.
But the bumbling officer's every ruse to foil the crime ends in chaos, not least when he is framed for the robbery himself.
A Shot in the Dark remains the best of the Clouseau films, but this is still a right hoot.
