Ultimate Hell Week - The Professionals, 9.35pm, RTÉ One

Eighteen celebrities from the world of sports and entertainment take on the army training challenge and are put through a gruelling special forces selection course.

In the opening episode, they are taken to abandoned military base in east Cork, where their course instructors give them a short, sharp blast of what they can expect over five gruelling days.

The documentary series about Dublin’s legendary maternity hospital just off O’Connell Street is back for a third season.

Dubliners Michelle and Clive (below) return to the Rotunda three years after the birth of their first child Zach who passed away in the hospital after being born prematurely.

They are hoping they can avoid early labour again and for the safe arrival of their second child.

Meanwhile, college sweethearts Sara and Vishnu step into the unknown for the birth of their first child.

Also in the Rotunda, Leonie and Dan anticipate the arrival of twins while grandmother of seven Christine, is a birthing partner for the first time as she accompanies her daughter Ciara to the delivery suite.

New or Returning Shows

Neven's Spanish Food Trails, 8.30pm, RTÉ One

Kitchen DJ Neven Maguire (below) returns with another run of the series in which he explores Spanish cuisine - this time visiting the Balearic Islands, beginning in Mallorca's beautiful capital Palma.

Food guide Deborah Pina shows him how to make a popular Mallorcan snack and street food favourite known as coca, and he meets Spanish TV chef Santi Taura at his tapas bar Cor.

Neven then cooks patatas bravas with a spicy tomato sauce, and baked mushrooms.

Grenfell: the Untold Story, 10.00pm, Channel 4

Community artist Constantine Gras shares footage he filmed in the years before London's Grenfell Tower fire in 2017, casting new light on the story of the worst UK residential fire since World War II.

Gras was filming inside Grenfell Tower throughout its £10million refurbishment in the years before the fire, when highly combustible cladding was inexplicably applied to the outside of the building.

His footage documents the struggles of the Grenfell Residents Group, who raised issues and concerns about the work being carried out.

Billions, 9.00pm, Sky Atlantic

Wildlife cameraman Gordon Buchanan leads a team using specially designed on-board cameras to film groundbreaking new behaviour in some of the animals who depend on the oceans.

In Cape Verde, Gordon starts the adventure with a look at one of the world's largest populations of nesting loggerhead turtles, before heading to the Bahamas with Caribbean reef sharks.

Gaza is a microcosm of a world without access to water. As the planet heats up, droughts may have become more commonplace, but that doesn't mean that water is disappearing.
