Matt Damon has said no one is rooting for his friend Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez more than he is, as the former couple rekindle their romance.
Damon previously dodged questions about the old flames getting back together when rumours began to circulate that they were an item again. But now that their relationship is out in the open, he is sharing his joy at their reunion.
When asked if he thought Affleck and Lopez would make it by The Carlos Watson Show, Damon said, "Oh man, no one's pulling harder than I am.
"They're both great. I just want for their happiness. They seem pretty happy right now."
He recently told Extra that he is "so happy" for them both, adding that Affleck "deserves every happiness in the world."
Lopez recently made their relationship Instagram official, sharing a photo of her and Affleck kissing as part of a gallery of images from her 52nd birthday celebrations.

Lopez recently said she's "super happy" and having "the best time of my life" right now.
In an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1, she shared: "I'm super happy. I know people are always wondering. How are you? What's going on? Are you okay? This is it. I've never been better."
Without mentioning the actor and director by name, Lopez added: "And I love all the love that's coming my way right now and all of the, the good wishes. And I just want everybody to know that it’s the best time.
"It’s the best time of my life."
Lopez and Affleck had a high-profile relationship and short-lived engagement in 2002 and co-starred in the films Jersey Girl and Gigli.
However, they called off their 2003 wedding just days before they were set tie the knot, then officially split in January 2004.
