Netflix's latest season of British royal drama The Crown and Star Wars television series The Mandalorian on Disney+ topped this year's Emmy nominations on Tuesday with 24 nods each.
The two shows dominated the Drama categories while fellow Disney+ series WandaVision scored the most Limited Series nods with 23.
Other shows to receive multiple nominations included Black-ish, Bridgerton, The Handmaid's Tale and Lovecraft Country.
Irish interest had focussed on Nicola Coughlan and Brendan Gleeson for their respective performances in Bridgerton and The Comey Rule, but they missed out on nominations.
The awards, hosted by Cedric the Entertainer, take place on Sunday, 19 September.
