HBO Max have released the first image of the upcoming Sex and the City revival, which is entitled And Just Like That, and will reconnect with the original stars as they grapple with love and life in their 50s.
In the new picture released on Friday, Sarah Jessica Parker's character Carrie Bradshaw can be seen strutting through the streets of New York with Cynthia Nixon's Miranda and Kristin Davis' Charlotte by her side.
HBO also released behind-the-scenes photos from the set of the new show, including the wardrobe room, a make-up station, and directors' chairs.
Parker, 56, Nixon, 55, and Davis, 56, also posted news about the start of the SATC shoot on their own Instagram pages.
"And just like that, it was day one!!" Nixon said, while Parker wrote "Here she comes," Parker on caption a picture of her getting her hair and makeup done on set.
The Sex and the City revival series, which will not feature Kim Cattrall, who previously played Samantha Jones, was first revealed last January and it will pick up where the show ended in 2004 after six seasons and two subsequent movies.
And Just Like That does not yet have an official premiere date.
A synopsis released in January read, "The series will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s".
Mario Cantone (Anthony Marantino), David Eigenberg (Steve Brady), Willie Garson (Stanford Blatch), Evan Handler (Harry Goldenblatt) and Chris Noth (John James "Mr. Big" Preston) are all reprising their original roles.
Grey's Anatomy alum Sara Ramírez was confirmed as a newcomer in May. Ramírez's character, Che Diaz, is a non-binary, queer stand-up comedian who hosts a popular podcast that Carrie appears on frequently.
