The manager of Years and Years front man Olly Alexander has denied he's going to take on the Time Lord role in iconic BBC series Doctor Who.
Representatives for the It's a Sin star shot down rumours of his supposed casting following recent speculation that the 30-year-old was in the running for a part that's currently being played by Jodie Whittaker.
Alexander played Ritchie Tozer in Channel 4's critically-acclaimed 1980s' drama - and the show's creator, Russell T Davies, also called the shots at Doctor Who, a show he revived with great success in 2005.
Inevitable speculation linked Alexander with the much-loved sci-fi show, with UK tabloid The Sun claiming: "Olly is on the verge of being announced as the new Doctor. Negotiations are at an advanced stage.
"He's been heavily promoted for the role by Russell - who he's worked closely with on other projects."
But on Monday, Alexander's manager Martha Kinn denied the casting in a witty statement filled with Doctor Who references (see screen grab above).
"Even though Olly is often contacted by cybermen, I'm afraid I have to exterminate this speculation," a spokesperson for Alexander wrote on Instagram.
"As nice as it is to see interest in this story regenerate, it just isn't true. As Ood as it might sound, Olly is focusing on his music, for the time being."
