Speaking about the song, she says, "This was one of the first tracks I ever wrote as Reevah. It holds a lot of depth and meaning, however I felt like it was time for a fresh start.
"Reevah has evolved and grown over the past few years and I knew that this track could take on a new direction in line with how my music has changed and developed.
"The theme of this track is prevalent now more than ever - 'Presently unaware, consumed out of control, my body's right here but my minds on another road.'
"The track highlights how we as humans can become detuned. How our minds can be so preoccupied by external sources, and that we can sometimes forget what is really important to us."
Tell us three things about yourself?
I have a newfound love for sea swimming, an addiction to coffee, and a tendency to be late.
How would you describe your music?
I like to keep my 'genre' fluid and interchangeable. My music dips in and out of various genres because my influences span from a vast range of music and my roots as an artist come from a range of genres. However, my current sound could be described as dreamy indie- pop.
Who are your musical inspirations?
Currently - James Vincent McMorrow, Lana Del Ray, London Grammar, HAIM, Wolf Alice.
How are you occupying yourself during the coronavirus lockdown?
I started a master’s degree in Creative musicianship which has been keeping me very busy!
What's your favourite song right now?
Californian Soil - London Grammar.
Favourite lyric of all time?
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven by WB Yeats
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Dreams - Fleetwood Mac
