Canadian actress and comedian Katherine Ryan has announced she is expecting a baby in the summer.
Speaking during a live recording of her podcast Telling Everybody Everything in London on Thursday evening, the 37-year-old mother-of-one revealed she is having a baby with her husband Bobby Koostra.
The Sun newspaper said The Duchess star advised expectant mothers not to reveal the exact date the baby is due. It is the first time she has spoken about her pregnancy.
On Friday, Koostra posted a picture of Ryan's baby bump on Instagram with the caption: "Bringing New Life."
Ryan had previously spoken about her nuptials to Bobby Koostra with Radio Times saying: "We didn't have a wedding, I didn't need to put on a white dress and pretend to be a virgin. That ship has sailed!"
The pair opted for a civil partnership in 2019.
Ryan is best known for her TV show The Duchess which she created, wrote and starred in. The sitcom is about a single mother navigating work and relationships in London.

She is already a mother to 11-year-old daughter Violet.
