In a remarkable show of generosity Late Late Show viewers have raised over €20 Million for Irish charities at a time when they need it most.

This incredible total has been achieved during the show's current run, which comes to an end next Friday, May 28.

A staple of Friday night entertainment viewing for Irish audiences, this season The Late Late Show's guests have included Dolly Parton, Bruce Springsteen, Noel Gallagher, Brenda Fricker, U2, Brendan Gleeson, and Dave Grohl.

The show has also featured performances from rising music stars including Denise Chaila and Inhaler, as well as producing specials including Country, Taking Care of Business and the recent Late Late Show celebrating President Michael D Higgins' 80th birthday.

Throughout 2020 and into 2021 viewers of The Late Late Show have raised more than €20million and rising for Irish charities. That total includes the following:

Toy Show Appeal €6.62 million

Irish Cancer Society Daffodil Day €3.5million

Pieta €3 million

Simon Community €1.5million

St Vincent de Paul €1.2 million

Capuchin Day Centre €1million

There were also sums raised during the show for ISPCC , Laura Lynn, Debra Ireland, Hope Foundation, ALONE, Barretstown, Barnardos, St Francis Hospice, Focus Ireland, Brave Like Emmeline Holland fundraiser, Irish Guide Dogs, RNLI, Cystic Fibrosis /Julian Benson, Heroes Aid, Paralympics Ireland, Epilepsy Ireland, CRY, bringing the total to more than €20 million.
