Singer Jesy Nelson has signed a solo record deal, five months after leaving girl group Little Mix.
Sharing the news, the 29-year-old Londoner said: "I'm so excited to finally announce that I will be signing to Polydor Records."
"I cannot wait for you to hear what I've been working on and to start this new chapter with the Universal Music team," she added.
Nelson quit the X Factor-formed Little Mix in December, saying the high-profile role had "taken a toll" on her mental health.

At the recent Brit Awards, Little Mix became the first female outfit to win the Best British Band accolade.
Nelson's former bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall thanked her during their acceptance speech.
