Mark Wahlberg has revealed how he gained 30 pounds ahead of his role in the upcoming film, Father Stu.
The new film is a biopic about Father Stuart Long, a former boxer who went on to become a priest.
The 49-year-old Wahlberg posted a sneak preview of his new "dad bod" on Instagram, saying that his weight gain is all thanks to his private chef.
In the caption, the actor said: "From left photo 3 weeks ago to this, now. Thanks to @chef_lawrence_d cooking."
Wahlberg previously said that he planned to gain around 30 pounds in six weeks to portray Father Stu and told Jimmy Kimmel Live!, "I want to go bakeries. I want to go to Denny's. I want to get pancakes. I want to get everything I can possibly get my hands on."
Commenting on Wahlberg's Instagram post, his wife, Rhea, said: "And it looks just as hot in person baby."
Fellow actor Mario Lopez commented on the picture, saying: "Yo. You wear mad chubby well homie!"
