The fourth season of The Handmaid's Tale is coming to RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player from Thursday May 6 - just days after its US launch.
This time in the dystopian drama based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, June (Elisabeth Moss) strikes back against Gilead as a fierce rebel leader, but the risks she takes bring unexpected and dangerous new challenges.
Her quest for justice and revenge threatens to consume her and destroy her most cherished relationships.
As well as Moss, the cast includes Joseph Fiennes, Yvonne Strahovski, Samira Wiley, Alexis Bledel, Ann Dowd, Max Minghella, Madeline Brewer, O-T Fagbenle, Amanda Brugel, Bradley Whitford, and Sam Jaeger.
RTÉ's Director of Acquisitions and Co-Productions Dermot Horan said: "We're so pleased to be able to bring this new run in a highly-acclaimed and thrilling series to our viewers on RTÉ2 and RTÉ Player as a 'see it first' this May, ahead of UK broadcast."
