Grey's Anatomy and Blue Bloods will return to RTÉ2 on March 31.

Grey’s Anatomy will be back for its 17th season, which fans in the US have been enjoying already.

The medical drama’s 16th season was cut a few episodes short due to the pandemic, with an episode entitled 'Put on a Happy Face’ becoming an unintended, but fitting, finale.

Fans will remember Amelia giving birth to her baby with Link, the team diagnosing Richard’s health problems as cobalt poisoning, and Owen receiving an unfortunate and heartbreaking accidental voicemail from his would-be bride Teddy.

Blue Bloods will also be making its return, with Tom Selleck,  Donnie Wahlberg, Bridget Moynahan and co back for an 11th outing of the drama about a Irish-American New York family steeped in law enforcement.

The fall-out of a big reveal in the season ten finale is sure to have fans excited to find out what happens next.

Both shows return to RTÉ2 on March 31.
