It is reported that Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have denied that their two-year engagement is over.
Celebrity website TMZ says it has been told by them: "All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things."
People magazine had earlier reported that star of stage and screen Lopez and baseball player Rodriguez were last seen together in the Dominican Republic on 1 March. Lopez is making a film there.
People said multiple sources had confirmed the split. The split news was first reported by the New York Post's Page Six.
"This has been a long time coming," one source told People. "They are tied in their business worlds so it's not a cut and dry breakup. It's taken a while for them to even think about untangling it all."
Lopez, 51, and Rodriguez, 45, became a couple almost four years ago. They became engaged in the Bahamas in March 2019.
In an interview with Access Hollywood in December, Lopez revealed that they had twice postponed their wedding due to the pandemic.
