Comedian Des Bishop has become engaged to US reality star and fellow comedian Hannah Berner.
The couple shared the joyful news on their respective Instagram accounts, with Bishop writing: "When you know, you know. Laughs for life @beingbernz."
Berner, who stars in US reality TV show Summer House, told People magazine that Bishop was her "best friend" and that she couldn't wait to marry him.
Sharing details of the proposal, Berber said: "When we first started dating, Des would send me this really funny video, singing videos, that would make me laugh.
"On Valentine's Day, I woke up and I had a video of him singing, which I hadn't gotten since the summer. And then it ends with him being like, 'I have a surprise for you'. "
Berner says she then looked up to find Bishop on bended knee.
"I'm in bed with my Invisalign [braces] on, and my breath is terrible," she joked. "And he's just kneeling on the side, and then he just pulls out the ring. I think I just made weird crying noises."

Several of Bishop's showbiz pals have sent their good-wishes, including Deirdre O'Kane. She said: "Ahhh now! Fantastic, congrats pal!"
Amy Huberman, Katherine Lynch and Boyzone star Keith Duffy also shared their congratulations on Bishop's post.
Bishop and Berner became a couple in July 2020 after the Irish-American comedian slid into her DMs on Instagram.
Bishop said: "I was fairly certain fairly quickly that Hannah was the one for me.
"When I met her the first time, my immediate thought was not only is she beautiful, but I just want to spend all the time with her because she's so much fun."
The lovebirds are looking to tie the knot sooner rather than later. Berner said: "He's my best friend. Why wait?"
