Bruno Mars has announced that he has formed a new band with Anderson .Paak.
The pair will release their first single together under the name 'Silk Sonic' in March.
Mars took to Twitter to share the news that he had teamed up with the singer, rappy and multi-instrumentalist for an album. Bootsy Collins will also make an appearance on the record.

Paak supported Mars on his 24K Magic World Tour in 2017, which included two sold-out shows at Dublin’s 3Arena.
While they were on tour there was rumours that they were working on material together.

A picture emerged on social media of Mars, Paak, Nile Rogers and Disclosure playing together in the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London, but a release never came.
