Lady Gaga offers $500k reward after dog walker shot and pets stolen

Lady Gaga is reported to be offering a $500,000 reward for the safe return of her French bulldogs after her dog walker was shot as he was walking them in West Hollywood.

According to US website TMZ, Ryan Fischer was attacked as he was looking after Gaga's dogs, Koji, Miss Asia and Gustavo, on Wednesday evening.

Koji and Gustavo were stolen, while Miss Asia escaped the scene and was later recovered.

ABC7 reported that the dog walker was seen cradling one of the dogs while he was being treated on the sidewalk for his gunshot wounds.

Mr Fischer is said to be recovering and Lady Gaga, who is currently in Rome, where she is filming Ridley Scott's new movie Gucci. is said to be "extremely upset" and is offering a $500,000 (€408,456) reward to get the abducted dogs back "no questions" asked, according to TMZ.

The Los Angeles Police Department said Mr Fischer was shot by a male suspect who fled in a white vehicle.

A semi-automatic gun was used in the attack and the weapon has not yet been recovered.
