The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has said it is investigating allegations of domestic violence made against singer Marilyn Manson.
Manson's former partner, actress Evan Rachel Wood, and four other women recently came forward with allegations of abuse against the 52-year-old. Manson, whose real name is Brian Warner, has denied the allegations.
In a statement, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said: "The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Special Victims Bureau is investigating allegation(s) of domestic violence involving Mr. Brian Warner, also known as 'Marilyn Manson,' who works in the music industry."
The statement added that the alleged incidents under investigation occurred "between 2009 and 2011 when Mr. Warner lived in the city of West Hollywood".
