Actor Neil Patrick Harris has revealed that he contracted Covid-19 along with his husband David Burtka and their children Harper and Gideon.
Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show the 47-year-old How I Met Your Mother star said that they had all contracted coronavirus "early on".
"I was filming The Matrix 4 in San Francisco, right at the beginning of the year, and then I came back and it was right at the end of March I started feeling not so well," he explained.
He said they were "holed up, the lockdown started, then I lost my sense of taste and sense of smell."
Harris confirmed that his husband, their twins and their friend Michael who was staying with them all contracted COVID-19.
'"t was early on so it was a little bit tenuous and scary, there weren't any examples of anything, but no one had to be hospitalised," he added.
