Bridgerton actor Regé-Jean Page has reportedly been cast in the upcoming Dungeons & Dragons blockbuster.

The 31-year-old star, who plays Simon Basset, Duke of Hastings in in the popular Netflix period drama, is said to have signed up for Paramount's upcoming movie based on the much-loved fantasy role-playing game.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Page is set to have a leading role in the feature film, but no details were revealed about the part he would play.

Michelle Rodriguez, Chris Pine and Justice Smith have already signed on for the project which is set to start shooting at Titanic Studios, Belfast in early 2021.

The latest reboot of the fantasy epic will be helmed by John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein.

The game was previously brought to the big screen in a 2000 movie starring Marlon Wayans, Zoe McLellan and Jeremy Irons, but it was panned by critics.
