When will the show take place?
After being delayed from its usual January date due to the coronavirus pandemic, this year's 78th Golden Globe Awards have been pushed back to Sunday, February 28. The awards, which celebrate excellence in film and television, are given out on behalf of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA).
Who is hosting the ceremony?
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are reprising their role as hosts of the annual awards celebration — they previously hosted in 2013, 2014, and 2015 . They will present the Globes for the first time from opposite coasts.
Fey is scheduled to host the Big Apple leg of the show from the Rockefeller Center's Rainbow Room, while co-host Poehler will be presenting from the Beverly Hilton.

Which stars are presenting awards?
According to Variety, the show's producers have asked all award presenters to appear in person at either location. All nominees are expecting to be appearing remotely. Producers have reportedly assured all those invited that strict COVID protocols will be in place for the prestigious event.
Renée Zellweger, Cynthia Erivo and Joaquin Phoenix will be among the presenters. Actresses Annie Mumolo, Awkwafina and Kristen Wiig will also appear, the HFPA said.
Zellweger, Awkwafina and Phoenix are returning after winning awards at last year's ceremony.
Phoenix was honoured for his leading role in Joker while Zellweger was recognised for playing Judy Garland in biopic Judy.
Awkwafina won Best Actress in a musical or comedy for The Farewell. Wiig is a previous nominee for her role in 2011 comedy Bridesmaids and will present alongside Mumolo, her co-star in Barb and Star go to Vista Del Mar.
Kevin Bacon, Sterling K. Brown, Michael Douglas, Kyra Sedgwick, Susan Kelechi Watson, and Catherine Zeta-Jones will also be presenting on the night.
This year's Globes Ambassadors assisting with the handing out of the trophies will be Satchel and Jackson Lee, children of three-time Golden Globe nominee Spike Lee and producer Tonya Lewis Lee.
Who is nominated?
Nominations for the 78th Golden Globes were announced by actors Taraji P Henson and Sarah Jessica Parker virtually on February 3.
Netflix's Mank and The Crown were the big winners of film and television, each with six nods. Netflix was the big winner overall, with a whopping 42 total nominations across all categories.

Who could win what and why?
The late Chadwick Boseman is tipped to win Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for his role in Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, with many critics putting their bets on Carey Mulligan to snag the coveted Actress in a Motion Picture Drama award for her turn in Promising Young Woman.
Historical drama The Crown is in with a good chance of walking away with the Television Series Drama, with its leading lady Emma Corrin eyeing up the Best Actress, Television Series Drama accolade.
It looks like Sacha Baron Cohen could win the Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy category, with his breakout co-star Maria Bakalova virtually taking home the Actress in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy gong.
It's tough competition between Kaley Cuoco for The Flight Attendant and Catherine O'Hara's Schitt’s Creek in the Actress, Television category section. It's anyone's game. Either way, the much-loved Schitt's Creek is tipped to win the Television Series Comedy.
Jason Sudeikis is likely to win a prize for his stellar role in Ted Lasso and is considered a shoo-in to perform well in the Actor, Television Series Comedy.
Is there much Irish interest at this year's awards?
Brendan Gleeson is among the nominees in the TV categories for his portrayal of former US President Donald Trump in The Comey Rule, and Irish animated film Wolfwalkers is also shortlisted.
Gleeson's nomination as Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Limited Series or Motion Picture Made for Television is his fourth Golden Globe nomination, having previously been shortlisted for The Guard, Into the Storm and In Bruges.
Normal People and its star Daisy Edgar-Jones are among the nominees in the miniseries categories - but there was no nod for the drama's breakout Irish star, Paul Mescal.
Who will be honoured at the ceremony?
Jane Fonda will receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award at the Golden Globes award ceremony.
Fonda, a two-time Academy Award winner, will join last year's winner, Tom Hanks as well as Oprah Winfrey, Jodie Foster, Denzel Washington and Robin Williams as a recipient of the award.
"Her undeniable talent has gained her the highest level of recognition," said the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) - the ceremony's organiser.
"While her professional life has taken many turns, her unwavering commitment to evoking change has remained."
