Irish presenter Rachel Wyse has announced her decision to step down from her Sky Sports GAA role after six years.

The 36-year-old Dubliner broke the news on Twitter saying she will be "forever grateful to everyone" who helped her along the way.

"After 6 of the very best years working on the most rewarding job in my career with the GAA, it's time to step back," she penned.

"I've learnt so much and made friends for life."

"Thank you for the memories, I’m forever grateful to everyone who helped me along the way, you know who you are. #SKYGAA."

Wyse welcomed her first child, a daughter named Isabella, in September with her champion show jumper, husband Tim Gredley.
