Zendaya has said she is glad to be working again and grateful to be able to do so in safe environments.
The star can currently be seen in Netflix's Malcolm & Marie alongside John David Washington. It was filmed during the pandemic and they tried to have as few people on set as possible.
Zendaya comapared this experience to filming the next Spider-Man film saying, "It is very different. On this film, everybody's doing seven different jobs. [Spider-Man] is a very different kind of experience in the sense that there's a lot going on, but they still manage to keep it safe.
"I'm grateful to be back at work."
"It was a very scary time for the world. We wanted to make this movie, but we first and foremost wanted to make it safely," she told Yahoo Entertainment.
The 24-year-old previously said she became so desperate to act during lockdown, that she would perform at home for her roommate.
"Being in lockdown, I was definitely itching to do what I love because I hadn’t been able to do it for so long," she said.
"I literally, while I was in quarantine, I would do this thing to keep me motivated. I live with my assistant, who’s also like a brother to me. I told him, 'I’ll do some physical activity - I think it’s good for me.'
"I have a whole bunch of wigs, from many years of being on red carpets, and I would put on a different wig and be a different character every day, and put on this performance for him for like an hour every day."
