A representative for Kylie Minogue has denied that the singer has become engaged to her boyfriend Paul Solomons, Creative Director of GQ magazine.
Speaking to The Mirror, the rep said media reports that the pair were planning to marry were "not true", and the couple "are happy as they are."
The denial comes after actress and singer Billie Piper said the pair were engaged in a column for Elle magazine, and Solomons' stepmother Gloria told the Daily Mail that she was "thrilled they're engaged".
Gloria told the newspaper, "She's very nice. I'm thrilled they're engaged. It's very exciting.
"But, I'm sorry, I cannot tell you anymore because I've been told not to. I respect my son and I respect Kylie too much to say any more."
Writing in the March issue of Elle magazine, Piper recalled the night she collapsed in a London nightclub and that she was carried from the scene by Solomons, 46, who she referred to as 52-year-old Kylie’s fiancé.
"My PR rang through to my hospital bed to fill in some blanks - I'd been carried out of the club by a man, apparently. A hero or a pest? I wondered. It’s always hard to tell." she wrote.
She added: "Later, I’d find out his name is Paul, like my dad. He’s Welsh, works at GQ and will, in time, become a dear friend, a blinding success and Kylie Minogue’s fiancé. Hero, not pest. Kylie knows."
Speaking about her relationship on Lorraine last November, Kylie said, "He is so nice. He is probably not watching, I am sure he is at work.
"He is such a good support. We have a laugh. We have both been through enough in our lives and just met at the right time, so it's lovely."
After being introduced by friends in March 2018, Kylie confirmed their romance in April that year and has since said has "found her man."
