George Clooney's new Netflix film The Midnight Sky, directed and starring the actor himself, is set to become one of the streaming service's most-watched overall films.
Netflix says that the movie had been viewed by approximately seventy-two million households during its first month of release, reports Deadline.
The film was also Netflix's biggest theatrical release of the year, as it also played on hundreds of screens in sixteen different countries worldwide.

Netflix also confirmed that The Midnight Sky was number one in streaming content seventy-seven countries and had made the top ten list in ninety-three countries in total.
