Christy Moore, Lankum, Lisa O'Neill and Vicar St founder Harry Crosbie are the guests on the first programme in a new six-part online series which begins this Christmas.

The first episode of VISION will air on Aiken Promotions' YouTube channel on December 27.

Vicar St first opened its doors on a corner in the heart of The Liberties in Dublin on August 30, 1998 and it has played host to many local and international acts in the 22 years since.

However, the venue was forced to close in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Aiken Promotions were recently awarded funding as part of the pilot Live Performance Support Scheme to ensure the employment of performers, artists, technicians, creative and performance support staff. The result is VISION which is part-funded by the scheme.

The series features many of the acts which have had their shows cancelled this year due to the pandemic. More recent musical talent is also represented in the online series.

The first episode of VISION will air at 9pm on December 27 on Aiken Promotions' YouTube Channel and Facebook page.
