Comedian and actress Aisling Bea is the latest addition to the cast of the BBC's Cinderella Christmas special for Children in Need.

The Kildare comic will play Mrs Snitch and she joins Olivia Colman, Helena Bonham Carter and Anya Taylor-Joy for a retelling of the panto classic that will see 12 stars play the main roles in a stay at home version of the classic story, along with more cameo appearances than you could shake a mince pie at.

Tom Hollander, Tom Davis, David Walliams, Guz Khan, Regé-Jean Page, Jimmy Akingbola, and Daisy May and Charlie Cooper from This Country will also make appearances.

There will also be a number of musical guests taking part, including Sam Smith, James Blunt and Leona Lewis, and cameo appearances from David Tennant, Rosie Jones, Alan Sugar, Claire Foy, Mo Farrah and Hugh Bonneville.

Cinderella: A Comic Relief Pantomime for Christmas will be broadcast on BBC Two on Thursday, December 24 at 8.15 pm.
