Irish psychedelic punk band The Love Buzz have released their new single, Harp. We asked them the BIG questions . . .
Blending elements of alternative, indie and punk rock, the band say the new single is "a reflection on the freedoms and the isolation that comes with being part of the currently depleting music industry.
"Hope gained and chances lost is the main theme of Harp. Where we can go and what our identity is in the music scene and what it all means to us is an important part of this year's creative process."

We love to make music together.
We love to make food together.
We're cork born and bred.
How would you describe your music?
A sort of punk pop psychedelia.
Who are your musical inspirations?
To name a few; Pixies, The Flaming Lips, Fontaines D.C. and Elvis Costello.
How did you occupy yourself during the coronavirus lockdown?
Lots of music, producing writing and practicing, lots of movies and skateboarding, it didn't take us long to get used to the restraint in live gigs, we just instantly knuckled down on our song writing.
What's your favourite song right now?
Happiness isn't a Fixed State by Kynsy, I don't know what it is about that song but it's so great and I keep coming back to it multiple times a day.
Favourite lyric of all time?
"You'll never watch your life slide out of view, And then dance and drink and screw, Because there's nothing else to do." - Common People by Pulp.
Just love this line from Pulp, so many good one-liners off their discography but this one gets me every time.
If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?
X-French Tee Shirt by Shudder to Think, I could listen to that song over and over again. The last few minutes of the song where it's one melody over and over again played over one chord, it puts you in a bittersweet trance.
