George Clooney has revealed that he has yet to have an argument with his wife Amal.
"I feel very lucky in so many ways to have met her," the 59-year old actor told People. "We haven't ever had an argument."
He proposed in April 2014, and the couple married later that year at the Venetian palace Ca' Farsetti. They have three-year old twins, Alexander and Ella.
"You know, everybody’s been slammed together because of the coronavirus and a lot of friends’ relationships have been tested. For us, it’s been really easy."
The actor revealed that a mutual passion for equality, philanthropy and humanitarian concerns has served to deepen their relationship. The couple collaborate through the human rights organisation, Clooney Foundation for Justice.
"She succeeds in so many different ways and stands up for what she believes in," Clooney said. "We didn’t fall in love because of our work, but it ended up being something unusual we (share)... we are really lucky and we know it."
The organisation pushes for justice through accountability for human rights abuses across the world. Clooney hopes that his children will involve themselves with the same causes as young adults and after.
