Spotify has named late rapper Juice WRLD as the most-streamed artist of the year in Ireland, while Dermot Kennedy's Without Fear is the most streamed album of 2020. 

Juice Wrld, who died on 8 December 2019, topped the most-streamed list by Irish Spotify users for 2020, closely followed by Drake, Dermot Kennedy, Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande. 

Dermot Kennedy's Without Fear is the most streamed album of 2020 on Spotify Ireland. Lewis' Capaldi's Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent takes the second spot, followed by Harry Styles's Fine Line, Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa and After Hours by The Weeknd

The Weeknd's Blinding Lights is the most streamed track of the year. Roses (Imanbek Remix) by Imanbek and SAINt JHN, Rockstar by DaBaby and Roddy Ricch, Before You Go by Lewis Capaldi and Head & Heart by Joel Corry featuring MNEK fill out the top five.

In terms of podcasts, The 2 Johnnies is at number 1. Next in line is The Joe Rogan Experience, the Blindboy Podcast, The Laughs of the Your Life with Doireann Garrihy and The David McWilliams Podcast.

Globally, Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny hit the top artist spot with over 8.3 billion streams. Drake comes in second, followed by J Balvin, Juice Wrld and The Weekend. 

In terms of international albums, Bad Bunny was at number 1 with YHLQMDLG.  After Hours by The Weeknd, Hollywood's Bleeding by Post Malone, Fine Line by Harry Styles and Future Nostalgia by Dua Lipa complete the top five respectively. 

The most-streamed tracks internationally are Blinding Lights by The Weeknd, Dance Monkey by Tones and I, The Box by Roddy Ricch, Roses (Imanbek Remix) by Imanbek and SAINt JHN and Don't Start Now by Dua Lipa.

Spotify has more than 600,000 paid subscribers in Ireland.
